High-frequency tightening treatments are now a staple procedure in aesthetic dermatology, alongside HIFU. However, there are also challenges such as “painful yet difficult to see results” and “lack of immediate effects. DENSITY hybrid RF device combines the long-lasting effects of monopolar RF with the immediate effects of bipolar RF, bringing innovation to the field of aesthetics medicine. This webinar provides tips on everything from theory to irradiation techniques.

Effective Heating Method Derived from Theory: DENSITY’s Innovation (05:00–)
High-frequency treatment is a standard technique in aesthetics medicine, but knowing how it works is key to getting the most out of the device. DENSITY uses hybrid tech that sends out monopolar and bipolar RF simultaneously from a single electrode. What sets it apart is the combination of two key technologies: “capacitive coupling” and “impedance matching.” These enable efficient delivery of current to deeper layers and three-dimensional contraction of fibrous connective tissue. Conventional monopolar technology results in energy loss at the surface, but DENSITY overcomes this weakness by achieving both deep heating and uniform heat conduction. The heating design based on theoretical principles is a major strength of DENSITY.
Achieving Both Depth and Immediacy: The Fusion of Monopolar and Bipolar (16:36–)
DENSITY’s Mono-Bi Tip (High Tip) is revolutionary, enabling both monopolar RF, for deep heating, and bipolar RF, for immediate contraction of the surface layer, with a single shot. Conventional monopolar RF often lacked quick results, with minimal visible changes shortly after treatment. In contrast, High Tip is designed to emit the first four pulses as monopolar RF and the last pulse as bipolar RF in sequence, achieving consistent tightening effects from deep to the surface. Korean Data shows a 30% increase in collagen and a 19% increase in elastin compared to monopolar RF alone, clearly showing a synergistic effect. The strategic heating design, combining the sustained effects of monopolar RF and the immediate effects of bipolar RF, make this product stand out.

In actual clinical practice, DENSITY is highly regarded for its ability to deliver both visible changes and sustained effects. After three weeks, facial contour tightening was observed, and a reduction in volume was visually captured through 3D analysis. These results are not selected success cases but standard outcomes obtained through the practitioner’s routine treatment procedures. Thanks to its excellent GUI design, real-time visualization of shot counts and temperature increases is possible, enhancing operability, reducing practitioner stress, and contributing to safety. Additionally, the optimal number of shots for each area is pre-designed, ensuring high operational efficiency.
Hardware Continues to Evolve: The Potential of Next-Generation Tips (25:57-)
The DENSITY development team is currently working on the practical application of an even advanced “ALPHA Tip.” This tip delivers heat evenly and deeply over a wider range of irradiation and its superiority has already been proven by thermal imaging measurements. DENSITY is not just an upgrade of existing devices but a next-generation RF device thoroughly redesigned by applying the latest expertise in physics and electrical engineering. It stands out from competing products that entered the market after patent expiration, embodying the philosophy of “effective results with minimal discomfort.” It is particularly effective for cases with round faces or thick fat layers, making it an ideal solution for Japanese patients seeking both immediate and long-lasting results.
