Overview of POTENZA’s Features and Advantages/Disadvantages (07:45- )

The greatest advantages of POTENZA’s drug delivery are its “immediate effectiveness” and “quick recovery.” Satisfactory results can be achieved in just about 3 sessions, making it easy to recommend to patients. On the other hand, challenges include high consumable costs and higher pricing due to the need for anesthesia and longer procedure time.
However, patients often choose this treatment due to its minimal downtime and rapid results. Therefore, it represents a valuable investment for clinics in terms of profitability.
Treatment Process and Postoperative Progress (9:10 –)

The procedure begins with photographing the patient’s skin after counseling and cleansing. At our clinic, we record images using reBeau2 for comparison in case of issues. Next, we apply Penles tape to the lower eyelids and anesthetic cream to other areas. After a 30-minute wait, the procedure begins. After the procedure, a cooling pack is applied for about 5 minutes to reduce redness and stinging. Finally, Vaseline is applied if desired, concluding the procedure.
After treatment, redness normally subsides within about 2 hours, and makeup can be applied the following day. Crusting may form 3 to 4 days later, but it is barely noticeable and causes little disruption to daily life. Effects are often felt 5 to 7 days after treatment and include improvements in pores and acne scars, enhanced skin texture and makeup application, reduced uneven skin tone and dullness, and increased skin brightness.
Strategies to Boost Effectiveness and Repeat Rate (10:45-)

To maximize treatment effectiveness, optimizing the shot number is essential. Our clinic typically administers 2000 shots, to reduce pain, we deliver approx. 1700 shots during the first session and 300 during the second session. The current repeat visit rate is about 54.7%, but since we recommend a three-session course, this rate is expected to increase further.
There are two key factors for repeat business. First is “pain reduction.” Proper management of anesthesia and careful pressure application are crucial to minimize patient discomfort. Second is “perceived effectiveness.” Advance explanations about when and how treatment results appear help minimize the gap between expectations and outcomes, enhance satisfaction.
Self-care guidance is also essential. Since excessive cleansing can diminish results, instructing patients on proper skincare—such as thorough moisturization—helps sustain treatment effectiveness and encourages repeat visits.
Ripple Effects of Staff Training on Clinic Management (14:10–)

To effectively utilize POTENZA, it is essential that not only physicians but also staff understand the treatment and experience it themselves. During procedures, patients often ask about new pore treatments, and when staff recommend POTENZA based on their own experience, it builds trust. Sharing staff’s personal experiences and knowledge enables natural cross-selling.
Patients often visit our clinic for spots and skin laxity, but in fact, enlarged pores are also a very common issue. Establishing a system to propose POTENZA as a step-up option from other treatments directly contributes to increasing the average patient spend and building long-term relationships.
