Hello, I am Kana Tsuchiya, Director of the Tsuchiya Family Clinic in Asakusa. I would like to talk today about the Cellec V IPL treatment device, which we’ve been using since opening our clinic.
IPL (light) therapy (1:44~)
IPL therapy is a treatment to improve various skin problems by irradiating the entire face with Intense Pulse Light. It improves epidermal spots and redness, increases collagen in the dermis, improves skin texture, and is less invasive than laser, which makes it an easy entry point to cosmetic procedures.
As IPL is painless and can be used for various facial problems, it is a hurdle-free and easy to start as an introductory cosmetic medical treatment.
IPL can’t directly destroy melanosomes, but can affect melanin-containing cells thermally, enabling a gradual fading approach that works with the skin’s turnover cycle.
Cellec V (5:17~)
Cellec V can switch wavelengths by changing filters handily. Perhaps the most significant feature that sets it apart from other IPLs is its standard nine different filters.
By changing filters, various treatments are possible, including acne treatment and hair removal, as well as spots and blood vessels. The most commonly used 560 filter cuts the longer wavelength band at 950 nm and provides a sharper approach to pigmented lesions.
You can also use 590 or 640 filters depending on one’s face tan or skin type.

Summary (14:20~)
IPL treatment is minimally invasive. The treatment is painless and can be used for various problems such as blemishes, dullness, and acne. The device is easy for people who are new to cosmetic medicine to undergo. Why not consider introducing Cellec V?
