This is an electron micrograph of McCoom from SACCI Bio. You can see it has a round shape like a muscat. Even when absorbed into the body over time, it remains relatively unaltered, maintaining its spherical shape.

When a foreign body enters our body, neutrophils initially mount the initial immune response. At this time, macrophages such as monocytes are degraded, but the most important process follows.
Macrophages do not just phagocytose bacteria; they are also very much involved in the recovery process in our bodies. Their function is greatly affected by the size and shape of the foreign body.
McCoom７ was developed to fulfill such aims.
If the foreign body is small, it is phagocytosed all at once, but if not, it forms giant cells. When it becomes fibrosis and encapsulated, it maintains this state and induces neo collagen activation. However, if this reaction is too great, it can form clumps or amplify inflammation. We call this a “nodule” or “granuloma”.
There is a paper that examines what characteristics of the biomaterial have a negative impact. According to the paper, inflammation is most likely to occur when it is elongated, asymmetrically shaped, and has no smooth surface. On the other hand, the closer to a perfect sphere with an aspect ratio close to 1, the less inflammation and cytotoxicity, which can be a good predictor of inflammatory and immune responses.

Sculptra was created based on this theory. However, Sculptra is currently not used much in Korea because of its tendency to produce granulomatous masses.
McCoom7 was developed to replace Sculptra, and McCoom7 has a spherical shape with little bias. The sphere of McCoom7 remains undistorted even after 8 weeks, with only a few bumps on the surface.

By injecting McCoom with Pumping Tip, an appropriate degree of inflammatory and anti-inflammatory response was obtained for the skin. This condition is maintained for approximately 1-2 weeks.

Studies have also been conducted in which McCoom was administered to young and old mice.
But when McCoom was administered to mice
Both young and old mice had increased collagen and elastin, but the increase was more pronounced in old mice than in young mice. This does not mean that McCoom injections are ineffective in young mice, but rather that the activation of fibroblasts is more obvious in older mice due to stem cell stimulation than in younger mice, which originally carry more collagen and elastin.
