Microneedle RF Therapy Practice in Acne Scar Treatment

Thank you for viewing the Jeisys website. We have long felt that it is difficult to improve the treatment of severe acne scars only with insurance coverage. Therefore, we made the decision to introduce POTENZA, which has dramatically improved the acne scar treatment at our clinic.

If you feel as I do that it is difficult to improve acne scar with insurance alone, this is a must-see for you.

How POTENZA was introduced to our clinic(2:53-)

Like many clinics, our clinic used to treat acne scar only with insurance. However, as you all know, this often does not adequately improve acne scar. We believe that some patients who came to our clinic seeking not only acne scar treatment but also further improvement were not satisfied with the results.

So, by adding self-funded treatment, we wanted to provide our patients with quick and effective treatment without leaving acne scars. Until then, chemical peels had been the most common treatment for active acne scars, but we felt that this too had its limitations. That is why we introduced POTENZA, which revolutionized acne treatment at our clinic.

POTENZA needles (4:27-)

POTENZA is one of the latest treatments in cosmetic medicine. The treatment uses RF energy to stimulate the skin deep into the skin, thereby stimulating collagen production and helping to tighten and regenerate the skin. In particular, the POTENZA needle delivers RF energy directly to the skin from its microscopic needle to effectively rejuvenate the skin. It is effective for various skin problems such as wrinkles, sagging skin, and open pores, being used in many cosmetic medicine clinics. See how it has been particularly effective against acne treatment.

Our Cases (A1-12 tips) (9:00 – )

Among the POTENZA needle tips, we use A1-12 and S-25 tips in particular; A1-12 tip directly affects the sebaceous glands by delivering energy to 1.2 mm depth, thereby suppressing excessive sebum secretion. In the case of a 17-year-old male patient, treatment with POTENZA needles was initiated to avoid irritating topical products. The A1-12 tip is characterized by a very high level of patient satisfaction because there is little downtime and the results can be seen and felt in a short period of time.

Our Cases (S-25 tips) (13:56-)

S-25 tip is another treatment modality actively used in our clinic: 25 needles evenly transfer heat to the skin for a milder treatment. In the case of a female patient in her 20s, we chose to treat her with POTENZA needles because Isotretinoin was not applicable to her. After two sessions, the new growth of the rash decreased and was treated in combination with V-beam. S-25 tip is effective in treating widespread acne and is excellent in reducing redness.

Combination Treatment (16:30 -)

You can further enhance the effects of POTENZA needling by combining it with other treatments. We use combination treatments of POTENZA and the V-beam laser, which reacts with hemoglobin in the blood to improve defects and redness. Combination with Isotretinoin is also effective; in the case of a male patient in his 20s, the combination of Isotretinoin and POTENZA needling resulted in a significant improvement in skin redness after 3 months, with very high patient satisfaction. This combination of several treatments can be effective in a short period of time.

Further Issues (19:50-)

A challenge now is how to offer solutions to patients suffering from acne that cannot be treated within their medical insurance. Treatment with POTENZA needles can be very beneficial for patients suffering from acne and is an essential part of modern acne treatment. While the use of POTENZA needles allows for quicker and more effective results without scarring, self-funded costs can be very costly to the patient.
We also need to further research and accumulate clinical cases other than acne. By sharing information with other medical institutions and introducing new treatment methods, we will continue to provide better treatment, pursue various possibilities of POTENZA needling, and strive to improve patient satisfaction.
