Thank you for viewing the Jeisys website.
Dark blemishes on the face are not easily covered with makeup, making them a daily source of depression. Many are visiting clinics to improve their blemishes. However, various types of blemishes exist, such as senile pigmentation and melasma, each requiring appropriate treatment.
Therefore, we would like to propose the TRI-BEAM, a Q-switched YAG laser that can provide a diverse treatment menu in the treatment of blemishes.
In this issue, Dr. Riwa Takeda, Director of Dermatology and Cosmetic Dermatology at Takeda Sports and Beauty Clinic, will introduce the benefits of introducing TRI-BEAM and treatment cases.

How we came to open our clinic on a minimum scale(1:30-)
I am currently running a beauty clinic in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. I myself was born in Kochi Prefecture and lived in Tokyo from university until I became a dermatologist, so I had no connection to Fukuoka.
We moved to Fukuoka in 2006 to help my husband’s senior doctor open his own practice. We opened our own clinic about 5 years later. The preparation time was 2 months. Since we were opening in an inexpensive tenant, we kept the initial investment as low as possible.
Three years later, in 2014, the clinic would move to its current location. TRI-BEAM was installed at the time of the move.
Installation history of equipment since the opening of the business (7:08~)
The first clinic we opened, located on the 2nd floor, provided only self-funded treatments. We introduced the following 2 near-infrared therapy devices to address blemishes, sagging skin, and skin texture improvement:
IPL
Long pulse YAG
Three years later, we introduced TRI-BEAM at the time of our relocation. For the next nine years, we did not install any new blemish treatment devices, using only IPL and TRI-BEAM.
About TRI-BEAM (8:35~)
TRI-BEAM features three modes in addition to two wavelengths (1064/ 532nm).
Gaussian Mode: Strong energy is concentrated in the center
TOP HAT Mode: Uniform irradiation
GEN Mode: Promotes collagen production in the dermis through a warming effect.
By combining wavelengths and modes, various pigmentation and skin texture problems can be addressed as shown in the figure above.
Reasons for purchasing TRI-BEAM (09:10~)
We implemented TRI-BEAM at the time of the clinic relocation for three reasons:
Possible to remove blemishes that cannot be removed by IPL (phototherapy)
Two wavelength outputs and toning are possible.
Inexpensive as a laser device
With both IPL and TRI-BEAM, we can offer a diverse treatment menu. We are able to treat blemishes to the satisfaction of our patients.
Case studies (10:00~)
Specific cases using TRI-BEAM are presented.
Case ① 60s female (senile pigmentation) (10:02~)
A typical example of senile pigmentation; a thin scab is formed by TRI-BEAM irradiation. The scab has fallen off and the blemish has improved.
Case ② Lip Hyperpigmentation (10:42~)
Quite a few patients come to our clinic seeking improvement of lip pigmentation. Some patients come from far away from our clinic after reading our website and SNS.
Case ③40s female (melasma and senile pigmentation) (12:09~)
She came to our clinic for improvement of blemishes and dullness of the skin. Multiple melasma and large and small senile pigmented spots were observed.
She was treated with tranexamic acid and ZO Skin Therapeutics (a combination therapy of tretinoin and tranexamic acid).
Five Toning Mode irradiations were performed as maintenance after the completion of ZO Therapeutics. After about 6 months, there has been no recurrence of melasma or senile pigmentation with a good progress.
Case④30s female(ADM, Senile Pigmentation)
A mixture of senile pigmentation and ADM was observed. We began treatment with toning and ZO Skin to improve the dullness of her entire face.
For ADM, one irradiation was done in Gaussian mode (1064nm). 6 months later, the results show an improvement in pigmentation.
Case⑤18-year-old female(Underarm Hyperpigmentation)
This is a case of hyperpigmentation due to chronic skin inflammation of the armpits. She had itchy underarms since junior high school and unconsciously scratched them during the sweating season.
Toning was performed 8 times alternating with 6 salicylic acid peels; topical hydroquinone cream from ZO Skin was applied. 12 months later, improvement in color tone was noted.
Cases treating body pigmentation seem to get noticed on SNS and websites. Some patients come to our clinic from far away. There seems to be a hidden need.
Advantages of installing TRI-BEAM (16:43~)
The first equipment a cosmetic dermatologist should have, in our opinion, is IPL, which can improve dullness of the entire face without causing severe scabbing.
However, IPL alone cannot address the various types of blemishes such as melasma and light spots that inevitably remain. We believe that TRI-BEAM is the best way to compensate for this.
The combination of IPL and TRI-BEAM can flexibly meet the needs of many patients suffering from blemishes.
Summary (21:36~)
For 9 years, we did not introduce any new devices for blemish treatment because IPL and TRI- BEAM alone were sufficient to achieve the desired results.
TRI-BEAM is a relatively inexpensive device that can provide a wide variety of treatments.
We believe that the business style of opening a clinic with a limited budget and growing it to a large scale is very attractive.
The most common problem of patients coming to cosmetic dermatologists is blemishes. Patients are satisfied when blemishes are removed completely. This will lead to repeat patients and referrals, and more people will visit your clinic.
