Skin Rejuvenation ~ Acne and Acne Scar Treatment About POTENZA’s Clinical Practice

Thank you for visiting the Jeisys website. Many women seek to have smooth, blemish-free skin. Acne and acne scars can be very bothersome when they are in visible places.

Dr. Ko of KO Clinic & Lab will discuss how he treats skin rejuvenation and acne and acne scars using POTENZA.

Skin Rejuvenation Today(00:01~)

Pigmented spots, mainly spots and melasma, are treated to some extent with Pico laser and Q-switched laser, followed by needle RF such as SYLFIRM and POTENZA to further tone the skin.

In this case, picosecond laser rejuvenation and dermal remodeling at the initial visit cleared the skin to some extent, but the pigmented lesions remained hard to erase. Further rejuvenation and remodeling with SYLFIRM and POTENZA needle RF improved conditions of the basement membrane and capillaries, resulting in bright, dull-free skin.

The better condition of the basement membrane results in a better PI value, making the laser more effective in treating blemishes. Needle RF also has the advantage of achieving even-colored skin, while conventional lasers can cause depigmentation after multiple treatments.

These days, skin rejuvenation is performed with needle RF such as SYLFIRM and POTENZA, and laser toning is used much less frequently. Lasers are mostly used for spot irradiation of pigmented spots.

Refractory melasma is treatable with non-invasive therapy or picosecond laser while avoiding hyperpigmentation, but sometimes it doesn’t improve beyond a certain degree. In some of these cases, treatment with needle RF has cleared the skin considerably .

Needle RF is also effective in treating rosacea and pigmented lesions that do not go away with laser alone. Not only does it treat pigmented lesions, but it also improves skin texture as the dermis is remodeled.

Pigmented spots and hyperpigmentation improved with picosecond Alexandrite laser spot treatment and two toning treatments. IBPRF was then applied three times, and rosacea-like light redness improved.

Treatment of acne and acne scars (23:21-)

Acne scars, Pores, Wrinkles, Skin texture, Capillaries, Formation of Basement Membrane

Acne and pimples are treated primarily with oral and topical medications. Yet, these treatments take time to become effective. Treatment with POTENZA gives you the option of not continuing to use oral and topical medications.

McCoom injections using the CP25 tip in Monopolar and Bi-polar Modes inhibit the activity of the sebaceous glands, resulting in acne-free skin. At the same time, remodeling of the dermis is also progressed to achieve a clean skin with tight pores.

The anti-inflammatory, acne-controlling, and redness-suppressing effects of McCoom, as well as Bi-polar’s efficacy in suppressing sebaceous glands, are thought to shrink pores and inhibit the development of acne.

Bi-polar treatment is more effective in improving skin texture than Monopolar; it is best to keep the LEVEL at about 7. Increasing the LEVEL to 10 may result in longer downtime for scar healing.

Although there are many papers showing that POTENZA irradiation alone or McCoom injection alone was effective, it is important to apply RF Bi-polar while injecting McCoom with a CP25 tip for the treatment of acne and acne scars.
